NYC Pride weekend is coming up! Now, NYC’s festivities officially started last Saturday, the big hootenanny is this Sunday, 6/27. The Parade, PrideFest and everything else. I’m sure we’ll see some of the parade, it’s impossible to miss. Normally, we are more the avoid the chaotic mess types, while at Pride (it is possible). But, both Lorraine and I will be at PrideFest, as close to the stage as possible. Braving the sweaty crowd all for the headliners, Antigone Rising, we are all about supporting our favorite band! But, also want to celebrate!
However, we should all take note, in the midst of any partying, that Pride celebrations all most importantly about remembering where we came from, what we have achieved and how far we have to go. But, don’t forgot to enjoy yourself. Responsibly.
The PrideFest stage will be located on Hudson between West 13th & 14th. (Antigone Rising @ 5:30pm).
