Hello everyone! Happy Pride! We here at Something To Say will be celebrating Pride this year at one or two events.
One half of us might make it to Long Island Pride on Sunday 6/13, at Hecksher Park, 2 Prime Ave. @ Rte. 25A, Huntington, NY. Even if we are unable to attend that one, you should definitely try to make it! We know there will be good entertainment, as some of our friends/favorite musicians will be there to perform.
Marcy Lang a singer/songwriter from Long Island will be on at 2:45pm. Get there in time to see her!
Antigone Rising, a rock band from the NYC area, who we blogged about before, will be on at 4pm.
We will both definitely be attending NYC Pride (wearing our new shirts) on Sunday 6/27. Where Antigone Rising will be headlining PrideFest! The stage will be located on Hudson between West 13th & 14th. The band is scheduled to go on at 5:30pm. Which just makes us at StS quite happy and our Pride season even better!
And whatever you do for Pride, we hope you enjoy yourselves! Safely, of course.
