Dear Rue, Thank You For Being A Friend
On June 3, 2010 we lost another Golden Girl. Rue McClanahan will be missed by many. Myself, very much, included. I grew up watching The Golden Girls with my grandma. Every time I hear the theme song, I think of her. I think of the two of us in her living room, ready to watch our favorite show. I feel very sad for Betty White, who had this to say about her friend’s passing, “Rue was a close & dear friend. I treasured our relationship. It hurts more than I even thought it would, if that’s possible.” I don’t know what to say really, about this wonderfully, talented woman, that hasn’t already been said. So, instead, please enjoy the video above. I sure did.
