Antigone Rising - Borrowed Time
This song by Antigone Rising has been mentioned a few other times in our blog. The simple reason being, it is truly beautiful. Lyrically, musically. Beautiful. It’s message is to cherish everything. Do it before you can’t. Borrowed Time starts out quiet and builds to a fuller sound as it drives it’s message to your heart. At the end, they segue briefly into the closing lyrics of The Chain by Fleetwood Mac, after the original work by Nini Camps & Kristen Henderson, both of whom are new moms. In fact, it was the births of their babies that inspired them to write this bittersweet, poignant song. As Kristen has said, “It’s about the thought of not having any more time with the people that are most important to you”.
